We only do that so it can be stored and have the hood covering it. It's better that way than it just sitting out on a pallet.

I will also clean it up as it is very dusty. This is a complete running engine out of a 1998 International 4900 DT466E Navistar.

We had this engine running for over an hour and we drove this on the road for over an hour. It was a fully running and operating vehicle. The mileage and a video of this engine running can be found above in the photo section.
